Feed a Pastor

Our country is among the most privileged in the world. Most of us know little about what it is to truly struggle for mere survival… to wonder when we might find our next meal or if we will have a bed to sleep in that night. But what if we gave our lives up to the Lord to that point? What if we sacrificed every comfort that we knew just to serve Him?

Believe it or not, there are pastors that live this way and have for many years. They serve day in and day out with an overflow of joy that comes straight from Christ.

After his recent trips to Uganda and Haiti, and after some discussion with God, my buddy Trent decided that more needed to be done to support these pastors and consequently support the building up of the church around the world. That’s where Feed A Pastor will come into play.

The idea essentially has three important purposes.

1. Help to support and provide basic necessities to pastors around the world to lighten their burden in order to better equip them to serve their congregations and spread the message of Christ more effectively.

2. Help these pastors and churches come to a point of self-sufficiency and unity in which the members eventually provide all the necessary support needed for day-to-day functions.

3. Spread the word to the churches here at home about the sacrifices that these pastors have made not only to rally support and unify the world wide church, but also to help push us out of our comfort zones and into a
place where we are ready to really give it all to God and hold nothing back.

Everything is still in the concept stage and, honestly, we have no idea where the Lord is going to take this thing. We still have a ton of praying to do before we can step off into it. We hope that you will join us in praying about this new endeavor and we are absolutely willing to take any other help or support that anyone has to offer in this area. Thank you so much and please keep us in your prayers!

will himself call out and not be answered.”

  1. God’s great call to the pastor is very unique and seldom heard by the masses. God calls out an individual as pastor, not only to preach the word but to deny self. In the practice of that denial, the pastor in many place around the world, finds himself without food, without family close by, without friends, without financial support, and even without the recognition of the community he ministers in. Nevertheless, he acknowledges God’s calling and is obedient, even to the point of death. He would, as Christ did, give his very life proclaiming the gospel, that others may have eternal security. And even if his earthly life is not required, he still works as though it were and doesn’t grow weary in doing good. For at the proper time he reaps a harvest!
I certainly favor a ministry dedicated to serving the pastor. Thank you, Jamie, for hearing the Lord’s call to initiate “Feed the Pastor”. Stay on your knees in prayer. Keep your ear heavenward. And enjoy the prospects of reaping with the “Christ is the only way” pastors of the world. Jesus said, “As you have done it unto the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me.”
